Last Saturday Isar Aerospace successfully completed its first orbital test flight in Andøya, Norway. This milestone is a decisive step on the way to Europe’s independence in space.
The Kraftanlagen Group supported Isar Aerospace in the construction of the launch pad. Together with its engineering subsidiary ECM, Kraftanlagen Energies & Services provided part of the planning, technology and mechanical services for the test and launch infrastructure.
The Andøya Spaceport is the first operational launch site for orbital flights in continental Europe.
With the successful completion of the first test flight, Isar Aerospace has demonstrated the performance of its launch vehicles and collected valuable data for the further development of its systems.
”We congratulate Isar Aerospace on the first launch test flight from the Andøya spaceport in Norway. We are proud to be part of this groundbreaking project and to be able to actively shape the future of European space travel with our expertise.
